Defiance has tamed the beast that is your typical Petite Sirah, which can be wickedly tannic at times.  This one has ample tannins but they are nicely integrated, ripe and supple, and don’t diminish the beautiful blueberry, blackberry and black currant notes that make this Petite Sirah so impressive.  A Platinum Award winner at the 2020 Sommelier Challenge International Wine & Spirits Competition.
